Anna's apartment

Interiors in shades of wood and gray
Location: Tarchomin, Warsaw
48m2
comprehensive project with supervision, realization – 2021

Anna – the investor wanted me to create a design for the refurbishment of the apartment she had lived in for several years, maintaining the existing elements such as doors and frames, wooden floor and some kitchen appliances.

Her priority was to maintain the stylistic coherence of the interior. The materials and solutions used in the project (e.g. the height of the hanging lamps, table location, sofa upholstery) had also to be adapted to 2 cats living in the apartment. Moreover, it was important to create a comfortable working space in the living room.

As a result, I managed to unify the colors and style of the apartment. It is dominated by a cozy loft style with lots of wooden details and industrial, flexible track lighting. On the darker, graphite walls in the living room and bedroom, I have planned a place for paintings and posters. The composition of navy blue and white kitchen elements delights Anna’s guests, and visitors to the bathroom often ask about the manufacturer of the characteristic wood-like tiles arranged in a herringbone pattern.
