comprehensive project, realization in progress
The priority of the investor from Gdańsk was to create a comfortable interior with a unique atmosphere. The apartment will be for rent, and the quality of finishing materials and interior design are to attract a good tenant.
The apartment is inspired by the seaside atmosphere of Sopot. There is a lot of white, a bleached oak parquet, navy blue, sheer-blue. Most of the lighting fixtures will be white. The herringbone motif, apart from the parquet, appears on bathroom and kitchen tiles. The floor tiles in the kitchenette, hall and bathroom are white octagonal 20×20 cm, interspersed with navy blue (not black as usual!) small squares.
I have planned demolishion of the walls separating the kitchen from the hall and the living room. I also proposed the use of doors with a hidden door frame, so that the entrance to the bedroom will not be visible so much. Due to budgetary reasons, kitchen furniture will be made by IKEA, while in numerous niches there will be several custom-made wardrobes.
