Location: Praga-Północ, Warsaw
50m2, 2 ➡️ 3 rooms
comprehensive project, realization planned for 2022
Marta has been looking for an apartment in Warsaw’s Praga Północ for a long time. Finally, she managed to buy a 2-room apartment with an amazing terrace overlooking the panorama of Warsaw. The room with an exit to the terrace has been designed for an office with a place to sleep for guests, while the bedroom was created by separation from the living area by a loft wall.
The entire apartment uses a consistent, contrasting colors of graphite, black, white, navy blue, bottle green and burgundy. Marta wanted to use a few of her paintings and design icons from the previous era – the Volak bookcase from the 1950s, the ‘Tatra’ sofa from the 1960s and a folding table from the 1950s, designed by Czesław Knothe, made for the ŁAD Cooperative. The designed custom made furniture will be made partly of plywood, which is in line with the modern vintage atmosphere.
