Marta's apartment
soft loft
Location: Havlove, Chełm, Gdańsk
61m2
conceptual design, realization in progress
Marta dreamed of a minimalist space in a dark tone, inspired by the soft loft style. She was not afraid of dark colors – the wall behind the head of the bed in the bedroom is a symmetrical composition of contemporary stucco painted in dark graphite. The graphite color of the wardrobes in the hall is combined with the graphite painted wall, creating a dark cube on a light background. The door frames and skirting boards will be anthracite.
Compared to the original plan proposed by the developer, the bathroom has been enlarged to accommodate both a shower with a linear drain and a bathtub. The washing machine was moved to the toilet. Both bathrooms are in the same style – white marble-like tiles on the walls, anthracite tiles on the floor and in the shower, black fittings and accessories. The shower area is gently illuminated by a LED strip hidden in the gap between the wall and the suspended ceiling.
In the kitchen, the wall separating it from the hall has been extended. This made it possible to create deep cabinets along the entire height of the room. The space for the table is emphasized by lamellas, while the wall of the TV lounge will be covered with concrete slabs.
